American Fence Company in Des Moines Installs Fence for Veterans

The American Fence Company is proud to announce the donation of a black ornamental fence to the Friends of the Terrain Therapy Garden, an outdoor physical therapy area for the Veterans Affairs Central Iowa Health Care System medical center in Des Moines, IA. The fence was installed by AFC’s Des Moines branch in March 2021.

“We would like to thank the American Fence Company for the generous gift,” said Medical Director Gail Graham in a statement to AFC. “The fence that was donated shapes a beautiful therapy area with the Patriot Rock [an elegantly painted boulder honoring Veterans], garden planters, a putting green, shuffle board, and relaxation area that will be enjoyed by Veterans, families, and our staff for years to come.”

Jeff Husmann, branch manager for AFC Des Moines, says, “It was an honor to show our gratitude to our Veterans with a donation of this ornamental fence around the therapy garden. Thank you to all our Veterans and their families for all they have done and all that they have given.”
